Free Night of Theatre was originally created by Theater Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for the American Theatre.

Welcome to Free Night!

Free Night of Theatre is a national program devised to help audience development and as a way for theatres to give back to their communities, showing what the arts are capable of.

Free Night of Theatre started in 2005 with over 150 companies in Austin, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. That first year, almost 8,000 attendees participated around the country, viewing over 120 performances. Curious Theatre Company was a participant starting in 2011 and gave away 179 seats in only 30 minutes.

Curious is the only theatre in the state of Colorado participating in Free Night in 2014.
